Managing Partner
 
Sergio Laghi began his career in 1996 in the United States, in the legal department of Rollerblade Inc., where he worked on trademark, patent and product liability litigation and corporate law. He then joined a number of prestigious international and Italian firms: Simmons & Simmons, Morano e Associati (later White & Case Italia), D’Urso Munari Gatti and SJ Berwin LLP. In 2011, he founded Studio Laghi Santucci, creating his first independent legal boutique. Following the entry of new partners and a merger, in 2018, with the Treviso-based firm Laghi e Associati, he founded Studio Laghi Leo Spangaro e Associati, now LS Laghi & Partners, which he leads with passion and vision in the role of Managing Partner.
In recent years, he has gained significant expertise in the corporate sector and in particular in corporate finance. He has led numerous M&A, private equity and financing transactions (in particular structured finance aimed at the acquisition of companies: LBO, MBO, FBO) as well as corporate restructuring and debt restructuring, assisting multinational companies, investment banks and financial institutions, in national and international markets.
He also holds positions of trust in several companies, such as member of boards of directors, auditor and member of supervisory bodies.
Graduated in Law from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, he has been qualified to practice law since 2001 and registered in the Milan Bar association. Since 2015, he has been qualified to practice before the Corte di Cassazione and other higher courts.
